  Easy Rides are perfect if you are new to cycling or simply prefer a shorter, slower, and more social ride. You’ll learn the basics of group riding, rules of the road, safety tips, and important do’s and don’ts—all in a supportive, no-pressure environment.

  These no-drop rides are led by experienced club members who love sharing their knowledge. You’ll gain confidence and become a safer cyclist while building strength, health, and fitness along the way.

  We have 6 different Easy Rides that provide a great overview of local cycling opportunities. For more information on each of these rides go to Meetup.

  
  

  Ride Options

  • Easy Ride: 20 miles at ~12 mph

  • Easy Plus: 30 miles at ~13 mph

  Both groups start out together and enjoy a relaxed social coffee stop before returning to the ride start.

  Requirements

  • Ability to ride 20 miles at 12 mph

  • Helmet

  • Bicycle in good working condition  

  •  Signed Waiver (available on Meetup)

  • 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month.  

  • Start time: 9:00 AM (please arrive by 8:45 AM for a safety briefing)

  • Location: Museum of Ventura County parking lot near entrance steps.  (100 East Main St)
