  Easy Rides are perfect if you are new to cycling or simply prefer a shorter, slower, and more social ride. You’ll learn the basics of group riding, rules of the road, safety tips, and important do’s and don’ts—all in a supportive, no-pressure environment.

  These no-drop rides are led by experienced club members who love sharing their knowledge. You’ll gain confidence and become a safer cyclist while building strength, health, and fitness along the way.

  We have 6 different Easy Rides that provide a great overview of local cycling opportunities. For more information on each of these rides go to Meetup.

  
  

  Ride Options

  • Easy Ride: 20 miles at ~12 mph

  • Easy Plus: 30 miles at ~13 mph

  Both groups start out together and enjoy a relaxed social coffee stop before returning to the ride start.

  Riding at the Rock - Morro Bay, CA

  Many of you, by now, have heard that we’ve selected a series of rides in the Morro Bay area for our out-of-town fall event, which we have named Riding at the Rock.  These are the same rides that we had planned for Spring Fling earlier this year, which unfortunately we cancelled due to forecasted rain. 

  Those who did last October’s ride from Pismo to Morro Bay will find a familiar ride.  But we also have plans to ride northward to Cambria and Ragged Point.  Two of our ride days include options (longer ride, shorter ride; more climbing; less climbing), with ride stops designed to connect all the riders. We’re planning something for everyone!  The first ride will take place on Thursday October 15^th, with additional rides on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the 18^th.

  Please note: Registration NOT required for non-riding spouses & companions.
