I've done it several times. It's usually a fun ride, but crowded, and lots of inexperienced riders. I thought the pace was too slow, as it is paced by motorcycle and bike cops to keep the group together. Still, it's a fun way to see parts of the city you may not have ridden thru before. They have a decent lunch and prize raffle. There is a longer ride option, with quicker pace, but I have never done it. I would do it again if I have the time open.
