-Casitas Pass Loop Club Ride - CCW-

Wow! Yes, wow!  The club members had the BEST weather ever for this beautiful, but difficult Casitas Pass Ride. We ventured from the Mission Parking Lot on a fantastically cool summer's day. Yes, the temp did warm up, but only a little. When we left Casitas Lake we were very lucky to have a cool beach breeze blowing all the way to the top of the pass. Refueling was had at our favorite spot in Carpinteria, the Coffee Bean. After a time to refuel and relax, pace lines formed up to head back to Ventura at about 20-25 mph with a wonderful tailwind to aid our efforts. Many comments were thrown about that this ride was like "old times" when we stayed together as a group and enjoyed everyone's company at the Coffee Bean. Go CIBC!
