After a breakfast at Ellen's the group headed west along Santa Rosa Road to Highway 1. The members split into two groups, one headed to the difficult Jalama Beach Route and the other to Lompoc for a less hilly ride. Both groups enjoyed the day that did become hot. But, ocean views and hamburgers helped ease the difficulty of riding in the rare heat of the Central Coast. This area of the Santa Rita Hills and Central Coast are the best rural rides in California. Join us next year for the event of the year.
