2012 Cool Breeze Routes

The following routes may change due to construction, weather, traffic, closures, etc. Route slips will be available at check in and the ride start. Be aware that you will be riding on public roads not closed to auto traffic and on bike paths with pedestrians.

Under the "Export" tab on the right for each route, there are links to download a gpx file for a gps device.
The route sheet provided with the map is not accurate.
Therefore:Turn by Turn directions will not be accurate.
The elevation gain tends to be high.
The Cool Breeze Century, 101 miles, 4200+/- feet of gain.

Follows the coast from Ventura to Carpinteria, then turns inland through the scenic orchards and flower ranches of East Santa Barbara County. It continues up onto scenic East Mountain Drive and into Goleta where your lunch stop is at Stow Grove Park.

Follows the Century route, up the coast to Carpinteria, Summerland and into Montecito.

First goes up the Ventura River Trail over the new San Antonio Creek bridge at mile 6 and 10 after turn around at Oak View Comm. Center Returns back down the Ventura River Trail to the PCH/Hwy 1. Turn around is at the Rincon Fire Station. 
The Cool Breeze Double Metric Century, 126.4 miles, 8200+/- feet of gain. New Route!

Follows the Mini Metric to Foster Park, but then continues to the east end of the Ojai Valley via Fairview Rd, then Thacher Rd. From Thacher, return to Ojai then descend beautiful Creek Rd to easily missed, short, steep Encino Dr. at mile 29. It then goes over Casitas Pass where it then joins the Century route.
