-Important Additional Information about Ride Options-

Normal Ride start location is the parking lot by the Ventura Historical Museum, across from the Ventura Mission between Santa Clara Street and Main Street in Ventura. On Sat. & Sun. there is a "Fast and Long" ride at 8 and a moderate ride at 8:30 am. On Sunday there is a ride @ 8:00 that goes to various locations. There is a "Show and Go" ride at 8:00 on holidays.

Bring a spare tube, patch kit, pump, cell phone, route map/slip, food and water. Always ride with a club member and let others know if you decide to alter a route. Though lots of fun, bicycling is also a naturally hazardous activity. Be careful out there!

Helmets required on all rides. Please remember to bring spare tube, patch kit, pump, cell phone, route map, route slip, food and sufficient water. Always let club members know at the time you decide to alter the route, extend the route or shorten the route during the ride. Always ride with a club member, never alone. Bicycling is a naturally hazardous activity because we ride on roads that cars navigate. Please be aware, be alert and always look twice before turning or passing. And remember, cycling is always fun!

Fast and Far
This ride varies but generally leaves from the Mission parking lot at 8. You can find out at the end of the week what it will be by checking http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/cibc_altrides/ or by calling Kevin Moore at 805-649-3250. You should be able to sustain 16 - 20+ mph in a group or pace line on level ground and climb well to be comfortable with this group. Our average ride is 40 - 60 miles and could be longer.

The Year-Rounder Program

The CIBC Year-Rounder program provides a structure to motivate you throughout the season and to recognize your personal achievements. The Year Rounder is designed to showcase consistent performance throughout the year.

There are different divisions: Metric, Century or Long.

Year-Rounder Divisions

Rides are tallied and the combined mileage from those divisions are calculated. There is a consistency-based award, too. A ride extending beyond 24 hours or across day boundaries will count as a single, extended ride.

Linda Bott has spreadsheets you'll need to submit to her at the end of each month. Any questions should be addressed to her at bebotts AT hotmail DOT com

Happy riding!
