total miles for year, 4,561. The most mileage for August was done by Mark Jenkins for 414 miles for the month. Ray has overtaken Frank Zych in the metric divison. Mark leads in the century rides..

Many thanks to Dennis, John, Jeff, Mike, Kassy, Glenn and Leslie for de-thorning the bike path north of the water treatment plant today after their ride to Ojai.

BUT BEWARE!
And stay away from this section of the bike path for a good long while! Together, we scored SEVEN FLATS for the four bikes present. Things will be better with time, of course, but for now you'll want to look for other routes.
