Hi Everyone,
I've had nothing but FANTASTIC compliments on Cool Breeze!!
Everyone said the weather was perfect, SAG was
everywhere, the volunteers were very friendly and helpful and the food
and popsicles were the best! They've all said Cool Breeze is going
on their 2008 calendars. Some friends from Newhall told me on a ride this
morning that they had so much fun on Cool Breeze, they
went out and rode 50 miles of the route all over again the following
day. Keep up the GREAT work! THANK YOU!!!
Frank (the SAG Director) this is an email
that I received from the person that I sold my registration to:
Hey Joe! Registration went smoothly (they had my name already, as
you told me they would). I under hydrated and cramped badly right before
the mile 75 rest stop. Had to spend an hour there, drinking water and
eating bananas. Was scared I'd have to abandon, but made it through at 9
hours absolute time, 7 hours in-the-saddle.
SAG was on everyone's lips, as we rode. It was great to have the
psychological safety-net, you know? There was even a SAG person warning
us of traffic police! If you can pass my thanks along to anyone you know
who was working SAG, I'd appreciate it.
I
like to give a big thank you to you and all the volunteers for the Cool Breeze
Century. It was my first century ride and it was a great experience for
me, thanks to the dedication of all the people. The rest stops had great
snacks, and the lunch at the end was delicious. It was truly a memorable
experience. Too bad I didn't see you after the ride to thank you
personally. Thank Hank
Can it GET any better? I seriously doubt it. Everything was
perfect, including the weather. My first century was everything I
expected and more. See you next year!

This year's Cool Breeze ride was so well supported all I can say is that it was as good as it gets! We rode the metric century this year as I am recovering from injuries. We had a great time! Thank you! Paul

I thought the ride on Saturday was terrific! It was so well marked and

I rode the Cool Breeze century last Saturday and had a spectacular
time. The route was beautiful and the weather couldn't have been
better. As part of my pre-registration, I ordered a jersey &
socks. As it ends up, I cannot use them and wondered if there was a way
to sell them to any of the other attendees. . . . Do you ever get inquires after the ride as to purchasing these
items?? And if so, how would I go about selling my unused items? Thanks, Mary
I just got back home after completing my first Cool Breeze and
my first century. I want to commend you and the CI Bike Club on a
fantastically well organized event. From the friendly and helpful
volunteers, the excellent and generous food at the rest stops, the fine
lunch, to the delicious dinner, I was very impressed. So, thank
you all very much on a great event in our community. Thank you,

Cool Breeze Century was my very first century ride. I had a fabulous
experience and will be back next year. Kudos to the race organizers,
volunteers, bike mechanics, trail markers etc. The day was
